CAMBA, Inc., a well-regarded nonprofit service provider, provides supportive services from a first-floor office. This project is a true public-private partnership, with land contributed by the City of New York coupled with subsidies provided by the State of New York and private bank financing. Adjacent to the Legacy Houses project completed in February 2012 by Dunn Development Corp., the extensive rear yard gardens and play areas of the two buildings are connected. The building is designed to achieve Energy Star certification and incorporates extensive high-performance and energy-efficient components.
